A Message From the President
The Christian Faith Institute of Theology, a Branch of Freedom Bible
College & Seminary, Rogers, Arkansas, USA, is the educational wing
of the Christian Faith Assembly, Sri Lanka, Pastored by Rev.Brian Pereira.
For many years, the pastor had prayerfully considered the dire need
to establish such a school to train Sri Lankan men
and women for leadership challenges of this century in accordance with
Biblical principles.
When called upon, I took up the challenge because the Lord had done
a marvelous work in the Arabian Gulf in the early nineties, where we trained
around 200 dedicated, God fearing people under the International Institute
of Theological studies, headed by me. Many faithful graduates are now serving
the Lord in Canada, India, UAE, and many other different parts of the world.
It was purely by His grace that we soon established a close, trusted
working relationship with Dr.Joel Philip Church,
President of Freedom Bible College and Seminary, USA, under whose dedicated
efforts and untiring commitment our
Institute became a branch of FBCS.

Sri Lankan adults, particularly the professionals who could benefit from
this accredited four year Bachelor of Biblical
Studies program or complete year one Certificate of Christian studies,
year two, Associate of Liberal Christian Studies, or year three, Scholar
of Biblical Studies, and receive an appropriate Diploma.

by rigorous study in God's word and
who are humbled by an ever- deepening walk with the Lord Jesus Christ;

accordance with Biblical principles.

The Assisted Academicssm
Program
Assisted Academicssmis
a program used exclusively by Freedom Bible College and Seminary. This
plan allows the student to enjoy the fast pace of home study along with
the benefits of classroom instruction.
Students enrolled in one of the FBCS branches attend
class only one or two times a week. The
rest of the work is done in the comfort of their home. This plan allows
the student to complete a 4 year degree in about 2 years.
Cost
of Tuition
Tuition costs are are among the lowest in the world.
Prices are kept low to make affordable the pursuit of an advanced degree.
An interest-free, pre-approved monthly payment plan is offered to everyone
enrolled in FBCS, FBCS Branches and FBCS Affiliates. It is not our
objective to make money. Our objective is to offer an opportunity for personal
improvement and to promote advancement in the furtherance of the Kingdom
of God.

Curriculum
The courses of study offered at Christian Faith Institute
of Theology are for neither the passive student nor someone who
is interested in an easy way to a degree. Our curriculum is designed to
give you a tremendous amount of accurate information

and to challenge your mind. It is appropriate to reference the supreme
authority of the Word in 2 Timothy 2:15 - Study to show thyself approved
unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the
word of truth. God never intended for our walk with Him to be without
effort. He expects us to search the Scriptures and other sources to find
our place in His great plan.
Presently we offer only certificates and degrees in Biblical Studies.
As we progress we will offer degrees in Liberal Studies, Theology, Ministry,
Christian Education, and Christian Counseling Psychology.

The curriculum is well balanced and biblically-based being described

evangelical, ecumenical, with an emphasis placed on developing a solid
Christian character for the work of the ministry.
All FBCS curriculum is accredited by the Accrediting Commission
International and the International Commission on Academic Accreditation,
Inc. Neither ACI nor ICAAI are recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Statement of Faith

We believe in the Bible
as the inspired Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20, 21)
We believe in
one God revealed in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God
the Holy Spirit. They are equal in every divine perfection and attribute,
executing separate but coordinating offices in the redemption of man. (Genesis
1:26; 2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 Timothy 1:17; Mark 12:29; Exodus 3:14; John
8:38; Hebrews 1:8; Acts 5:3-4; John 14:16-17a, 26;
John 1:26)
We believe in
God the Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born by a virgin, who came in
the flesh in the form of man, who died on behalf of sinners and came back
to life on the third day and is now at the right hand of God the Father
interceding on our behalf. (Matthew 1;18; 1:23; Philippians 2:6-11; 1 Timothy
2:5; Romans 5:8; Hebrews 4:14; Romans 8:34; 1 John 2:1;
Hebrews 7:25)
We believe in
the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit distributes spiritual gifts
just as He determines for the edification of the church. (1 Corinthians
12:7-11; Romans 12:6-8; Ephesians 11-13)
We believe in
the fall of man resulting from the disobedience of Adam. For a man to be
restored to God, he has to be born again. He needs to accept Jesus Christ
as his personal Savior and Lord to have everlasting life.(Genesis 3:17-19;
Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12; Romans 6:23; John 3:3; John 3:16; 1 John 5:11-12)
We believe in
the observance of the Lord's Supper and water baptism by emersion.
(Matthew 26:26-28; 1 Cor. 11:23-26; Matthew 28:19; mark 16:16; Romans
6:1-4; Col. 2:12)
We believe in
heaven as the habitation of the Living God, where the Lord Jesus Christ
had gone to prepare a place for the believers. This is an actual place
where the believers will dwell eternally. (John 14:2; 2 Peter 3:13; Revelation
21:1-27; Revelation 22:1-5)
We believe in
hell which is actual place of damnation prepared by God for the devil and
his angels. The unsaved will be thrown into hell. (2 Peter 2:4; Matthew
25:41; Revelation 20:12-14; Mark 9:43-48)
We believe in
the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ being personal and at any time.
(John 14:2-3; Acts 1:11; Matthew 24:30,36,37; Matthew 26:64; 1 Thessalonians
4:16-17)
