Jehovah = Yhwh Pronounciation is not known.
The Jews took the 3rd commandment, "thou shall not take the name of
Jehovah thy God in vain..." so seriously that in around 300 B.C. they decided
not to pronounce it at all. Whenever in reading they came upon the word
they spoke the word "Ad-hon-ai" which means "Lord."
* Since there was no other way to express God, the saints of old used
extension to the word "Jehovah."
* When they needed provisions - Jehovah-Jireh
* When they needed to belong - Jehovah-Nissi
* When they needed peace - Jehovah-Shalom
* When they needed healing - Jehovah-Rop-he-ka
* When they needed to be made pure (unmixed)

* Jehovah Jireh -- Jehovah will provide
