A Letter from the Chancellor

This letter is an open invitation to any person that has the calling and desire to serve the Lord Jesus Christ.

In 1971, while serving as a local pastor in Clarksville, Tennessee, the Lord led Dr. William (Bill)l Corley to begin a ministry that today is know as The North Tennessee Bible Institute In the early years as the students came to better prepare for Christian Ministry, Bro. Bill's heart was overwhelmed with love for those who had the hunger but lacked the funds to further their religious education. Remembering the words that Jesus

  Dr. James W. Hunt, Chancellor

spoke to the Disciples of John the Baptist that are recorded for us in [Matthew 11:1-6], the Holy Spirit spoke to him and told him that if he would never turn a student away because of the lack of proper funding, that He would see to it that all the needs of the Institute would be met.  Here we are thirty-eight years later still being obedient to His Will and still able to operate, when many others were forced to close down; praise be to His Holy Name!

Sincerely in Christ Service,

+ The Rt. Rev. James W. Hunt, Chancellor

We are following Dr. Corley's Vision

As the new Chancellor, along with Dr. D. Celeste Wall, President, will continue to operate North Tennessee Bible Institute and   Seminary just as Bro. Bill did... under the direction of the Holy Spirit.

Now in co-operation with Freedom Bible College and Seminary, Inc. of Rogers, Arkansas, The North Tennessee Bible Institute and Seminary serve as a branch of this great ministry, offering courses in all areas of Practical Theology, Systematic Theology, Greek, Bible, Religious Education, General Education, Christian Fine Arts such as Dance and the Performing Arts, English Composition, Homiletics, Speech, Literature, History (Both Church and Secular), and much, much more.

All it takes to be a student at The North Tennessee Bible Institute and Seminary is a desire to serve the Lord.

May God bless you as you listen to His Will for your life.

Curriculum

The courses of study offered at NTBI are for neither the passive student nor someone who is interested in an easy way to a degree. Our curriculum is designed to give you a tremendous amount of accurate information and to challenge your mind. It is appropriate to reference the supreme authority of the Word in 2 Timothy 2:15 - Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. God never intended for our walk with Him to be without effort. He expects us to search the Scriptures and other sources to find our place in His great plan.

The curriculum is well balanced and biblically-based being described as evangelical, ecumenical, with an emphasis placed on developing a solid Christian character for the work of the ministry.

All NTBI curriculum is accredited by the International Commission on Academic Accreditation, Inc.  and the International Association of Distance Learning. Neither IADL nor ICAAI is not recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
