Introduction:

The International Christian Counselors Alliance (ICCA) is an educational and membership organization for Christian counselors. The qualified and Spirit filled staff of ICCA is dedicated to the mission of providing the world with an army of qualified and ethical Christian counselors. Of course, the primary objective is to promote the Jesus, the Son of God as the final authority of true counsel (Isaiah 9:6).

Why should every Christian counselor take advantage of the International Christian Counselors Alliance certificate program?

The answer is easy. The International Christian Counselors Alliance Certificate is an indication that your counseling service accepts nothing less than excellence. It shows that you care enough to go the extra step. It separates you from those self proclaimed counselors who counsel from their "hip pockets."

Because of the obvious need that Christian counselors have for professional credentials, ICCA has been established.

This program is open to all part or full-time professional Christian counselors, pastors, laymen, ministers who hold a degree in Christian counseling.

Some may think that Christian counseling is the job of the local church pastor. The problem is that so many pastors, although they do their best, have not been trained in proper counseling techniques. Another problem to that thinking is that the world is full of those who would benefit from solid Biblical counseling, but do not attend a church.  So often these people turn to non-Christian counselors.

Your ICCA Certificate will help to open many doors as you continue in the service of our Lord Jesus Christ.

How the program works:

After you obtain your degree, you may earn the International Christian Counselors Alliance Certificate which is offered through the International Commission on Academic Accreditation and in cooperation with FBCS. You will be required to take an additional 6 hours of course work above your degree. After you complete these courses you will be given a test that must be administered by a proctor approved by ICAAI.

The cost of the program is $325.00 (plus the cost of the textbooks). This amount may be paid in monthly installments.

This program is open to all Christian college and seminary graduates who have majored in Christian Counseling.

Please note that this certificate is not a license. Organizational certificates and licenses do not take the place of a state license and are not accepted by any state in lieu of a state license.

Membership Fees:

There is no charge for the first year - it is included in the initial program fee. Thereafter, there is an annual fee of $75.

Lifetime membership is $400.00
