* Question: What is the average cost of a college education?
Answer: Click here

* Question:
If I continue from one degree to another, do I pay the full price of the next degree? (Example: If I pay the full tuition and complete the Bachelor's  Degree and want to continue to a Master's degree, do I pay the difference betwen degrees or do I pay the full tuition for the Master's?)

Answer: The prices recorded are per degree. Although you have paid the full tuition and complete a Bachelor's degree, you would still have to pay the full amount for the Master's degree.

* Question: Do the prices listed include the price of the books?

Answer: No. The cost of the books are listed separately.

* Question: Please, explain the payment plan.

Answer: You may pay the full amount in the initial payment, or you may pay $100 or more per month. Even if you choose the monthly payment plan, you may pay in full at any time. The payment plan is interest free and you are pre-approved. If necessary, you may name the payment plan that will fit your budget.

* Question: If I choose the monthly payment plan, will I have to submit a credit statement or apply for credit?

Answer: No, we do not require any credit checks or credit reports.

* Question: What day of the month should I make the payment?

Answer: Payments should be in the FBCS office by the first day of each month. There is a built-in grace period of five (5) days. This makes it easier for those who receive their monetary checks monthly.

* Question: Is FBCS accredited?

Answer: FBCS is a member of the International Commission on Academic Accreditation (ICAAI), an independent subsidiary of Concepts of Freedom Ministries, Inc.

ICAAI is not recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.  Since we believe in the  right of separation of church and state, we have not applied for accreditation to the U.S. Department of Education or any state or federal agency.

In our opinion, our excellence and standards would be seriously compromised if we allowed any governmental body to dictate what courses we should or should not offer.

FBCS has applied for, and received, religious exemption status from the State of Arkansas.

* Question: I have 53 hours of credit I received from ------ College. Can those hours be submitted for credit at FBCS?

Answer: We at FBCS are relatively liberal on accepting credits from other colleges. We ask that you send copies of all transcripts, certificates of completion and diplomas with your application package. We will review them and give all possible consideration.

* Question: I do not have a degree, but could I enter the master's program anyway?

Answer: The associate degree is the only one that may be skipped. This is  necessary to protect the excellence and prestige of the Freedom Bible College & Seminary name. You may, however, pre-enroll in a higher degree at the time you enroll at the required degree level. This will freeze the tuition cost for both degrees.

* Question: Are the courses at FBCS pretty easy?

Answer: "Easy" is a relative term. If you study hard and give proper time to the course work, I suppose you may call it easy, but in the normal tone of the word easy, no they are not. You will have to challenge yourself and work diligently to achieve a coveted degree from FBCS. You can be assured though, when you hang the degree on your wall, you will be proud and you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you earned it by hard work and dedication.

* Question: How is the testing done? Will I have to go to a testing facility or a proctor?

Answer: No. Your test will be open book and you will complete them at home and send them to FBCS for grading.

* Question: Is it possible to request a personalized degree plan that would focus on a certain area? I have been working in the area of counseling on substance abuse. I am interested in a Master's degree in Christian Counseling, but I would like to focus more on substance abuse than some of the courses listed in the catalog.

Answer: Yes, we will do our best to customize your plan to fit your needs. In fact, you can work "hands on" with us to come up with a plan that matches your desires.

* Question: Do you offer an advanced Christian counseling certificate?

Answer: Yes. After you earn a degree, you may earn the International Christian Counselors (ICC) certificate which is offered through the International Commission on Academic Accreditation and in cooperation with FBCS. You will be required to take an additional 6 hours of course work above your degree. After you complete these courses you will be given a test that must be administered by a proctor approved by ICAAI. There is an additional charge of $325.00 (plus the cost of the textbooks). This amount may be paid in monthly installments.

This program is open to all Christian college and seminary graduates who have majored in Christian Counseling.

Please note that this certificate is not a license. Organizational licenses do not take the place of a state license and are not accepted by any state in lieu of a state license.

* Question: I do not have a degree. Would I have to complete the Associate degree before enrolling in the Bachelor degree program?

Answer: No. You may enter directly into the Bachelor's  program.

* Question: I live in Kowloon, Hong Kong. Is there a problem in my enrolling? Do you receive international students?

Answer: We have several international students. We consider it an honor to receive students from different cultures, races and countries. Our costs are greater because of postage and phone rates, but we do not pass that cost to the student. International students may apply for the Vicki Reeves Church Scholarship.
