Academy Manual
Definitions
Herein, headquarters of Freedom Academy with home offices located
in Rogers, Arkansas shall be defined as Freedom Academy - Rogers.
The local Freedom Academy shall be defined as Freedom Academy.
Goals
Freedom Academy - Rogers is dedicated to offering the best possible
biblically based education available anywhere. It is our desire that every
Freedom Academy, FBCS Branch, training center or affiliate college turn out
graduates that are an asset to any ministry. We want every graduate
to be able to proudly proclaim, "I am a graduate of Freedom Academy."
Our goal is clearly stated in our motto, . . . Educating the World to Save the World.
As a non profit organization, Freedom Academy - Rogers is a ministry, not
just a business.
Getting Started
The process of establishing a Freedom Academy in your church or
ministry is easier than you may have expected. Since we have college branches
and training centers across the nation and in foreign countries, most of the
legal procedures, policies and programs are already in place.
We work closely with you in every phase of the establishment to
help you adapt our proven programs to your individual needs, but the daily
administration is yours. You will form your own board of directors, choose
teachers, moderators and staff and help to set tuition rates.
You can be assured that we will be here to help you any time you
need us.
The
Application
Log on to http://www.freedombiblecollege.org/acadapp08.pdf or http://www.freedombiblecollege.org/acadapp08.doc
to download the application or call the office to have one sent to you. Fill
it out completely and send it by postal mail, fax or email attachment. Include
payment of at least $200 by check, money order or credit card. You will be
notified when your backgrounds checks are complete and you have been approved.
At that time you will be expected to remit the remainder of the branch fee
of $400 plus $75 per person for the background check. If your application
is denied for any reason you will receive a complete refund with the exception
of $25 which will be retained by Freedom Academy to cover the cost of the
application process plus the cost of the background check(s).
The Principal
The Principal will be considered the ranking person in the branch
and will answer only to Freedom Academy - Rogers on matters pertaining to
Freedom Academy. The Principal will report directly to the Superintendent
of Freedom Academies.
Naming your Freedom Academy
The name of your branch must prominently feature the name Freedom
Academy. The most common format would be Freedom Academy, (your) Campus
( i.e., Freedom Academy, Washington, D.C. Campus). An alternative name for
your branch may be Freedom Academy of (your geographical area).
Using the Freedom Name
The name Freedom Bible College has been advertised around the world.
It has reached countless homes, churches and businesses. Numerous search engines
carry the word about Freedom Bible College. Many hundreds of hours have been
dedicated to promoting the college. Commonly, Freedom Bible College
often ranks in the top ten of the easiest to find pages in the world. At
times, we have held both the number one and number two positions.
The name Freedom Bible College has become synonymous with quality
Christian Education.
Incorporation
Freedom Academies may be incorporated by the home offices of Freedom
Bible College in Rogers, Arkansas. This incorporation will be under the laws
of the State of Arkansas, USA. The incorporated name will be as defined above.
If incorporation is done by Freedom Academy - Rogers, there will be an additional
fee of $100.
However, it is usually to the advantage of the local academy to
incorporate themselves in their own state. Either way, the incorporated name
must include "Freedom Academy."
Accreditation
Freedom Academies automatically fall under the accreditation of
Freedom Bible College. Freedom Bible College is a member of the
International Commission on Academic Accreditation, Inc. and the Accrediting
Commission International. Neither ICAAI nor ACI are recognized by the U.S.
Department of Education and is not a regional accrediting body.

of Concepts of Freedom Ministries, Inc. which is also the mother organization
of Freedom Academy. This service is provided cost free to Freedom Academies
as a part of the package. The purpose for additional accreditation is to assure
internal quality assurance.
Freedom Bible College is not regionally accredited. FBCS has not
applied to the U.S. Department of Education for any affiliation with the government.
After due process of application, which included an on-sight inspection
and interview, Freedom Bible College has been granted religious exemption

Freedom Academy
High School Course Requirements
(Subject to Change)
New legislation was passed in l997 requiring the Arkansas Higher Education
Coordinating Board, after consultation with the State Board of Education,
to set the minimum core of high school courses necessary for unconditional
admission to two-year and four-year state colleges in Arkansas.
The Core Curriculum is printed here for reference,
as it is similar to state and private college requirements across the country.
It is wise to get a college bulletin from the college the student plans to
attend as soon as possible to check specific requirements. Many colleges
allow high school students to take one or more college courses during high
school. Early full-time admission is a possibility with a high ACT score
and good grade point average.
Although the following is the Core Curriculum for unconditional
admission to Arkansas State Colleges, it does not reflect requirements for
graduation from any Freedom Academy.
Please see the Common Core for graduation from Freedom Academies Below.

Statement of Faith
We Believe...
...there is one God eternally existing and manifesting Himself
to us in three persons -- Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
...Jesus Christ is truly God and truly man. He was conceived
by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died upon the cross, the
Just for the unjust, as a substitutionary sacrifice, and all who believe in
Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood. He arose from the dead
according to the scriptures. He is now at the right hand of the Majesty on
high as our great High Priest.
...the Holy Spirit is a divine
person, sent to indwell, guide, teach and empower the believer, and convince
the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment.
...the Old and New Testaments,
inerrant as originally given, were verbally inspired by God and
are a complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men. They constitute
the divine and only rule of Christian faith and practice.
...man was originally created
in the image and likeness of God; he fell through disobedience, incurring
thereby both physical and spiritual death. All men are born with a sinful
nature, are separated from the life of God, and can be saved only though
the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ.
...salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ for all
men; and those who repent and believe on Him are born again of the Holy Spirit,
receive the gift of eternal life and become the children of God.
...the church consists of all those who believe on the Lord Jesus
Christ, are redeemed through His blood and are born again of the Holy Spirit.
Christ is the head of the body, the church, which has been commissioned by
Him to go into all the world as a witness, preaching the gospel to all nations.
..the local church is a body of believers
in Christ who are joined together for the worship of God, for prayer, fellowship,
the proclamation of the gospel, and the observance of the ordinances of baptism
and the Lord's Supper.
...there shall be a bodily resurrection of the just
and of the unjust; for the former, a resurrection unto life; for the latter,
a resurrection unto judgment.
...the second coming of Jesus Christ is imminent and will be personal,
and visible. This is the believer's blessed hope and is a vital truth which
is an incentive to holy living and faithful service.
Closing Comments
I want to personally congratulate you for becoming an honored member
of the Freedom team.
We have no hidden agendas or selfish purposes. Our goal is
to educate Christians of the world so that more souls can be brought to the
saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
We are truly interdenominational. We have students from almost
every Christian doctrinal background. Catholics share experiences with Pentecostals.
Baptists and Lutherans walk in agreement that salvation is the bottom line
of Christianity. Methodists weep in joy with Episcopalians at the goodness
and mercy of God.
You have become a part of this unique ministry. You have
expanded your vision and goals. You have made another step that will help
prepare you for the move into the next millennium with the tools you need
to meet the challenges of the last days.
We will work with you as you begin this new phase of your
ministry. You are now a vital part of the stated mission of Freedom Academy
...Educating
the World to Save the World.
God bless you as you move forward into His riches.
Dr. Joel Philip Church, Chairman of the Board
